Apache - SSI - HEEEEEEEEEELP !!! by Stacato 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Allright folks ... i started hosting at home again ... BlueFlubberBall ...

As OS i am running Win 98 SE, the Webserver is Apache 1.3.24, i am also running ActivePerl and PHP ...

Now, i wanted to include some PERL cgis which i downloaded from here NMS-CGI ... The ones I am looking at right now is the Hit Counter CGI, The Random Text CGI and maybe later on the CGI that gets me the visitors data like the IP to display it on the page. My prob is that they are SSI cgis ...

i got so far to understand how to put the cgi call up into my html file. [!--#exec cgi="/cgi-bin/textcounter.pl"--] the [] == <> :)

so ... yep ... now the prob is ... i checked on the apache.org ite on how to get my Apache working with the SSI ... but i just don't understand how to configure the httpd.conf ... i just don't get it ... hmpf ... can anynody help me please ???

the following modules are installed in the version i have

mod_auth_anon.so
mod_auth_dbm.so
mod_auth_digest.so
mod_cern_meta.so
mod_digest.so
mod_expires.so
mod_headers.so
mod_unique_id.so
mod_status.so
mod_speling.so
mod_rewrite.so
mod_proxy.so
mod_mime_magic.so
mod_info.so
mod_usertrack.so
