LH Pro Server and Linux by loser1222002-06-10 06:43:58
Ahhh, the bane of my existance! by gder 2002-06-10 07:42:17
Ahhhh, the NetServers. Of course the LH Pro is older than dirt but quite a solid box if you ask me. Unfortunatly I'm one of the people who has to support these beasts. It's too early for me to be looking at server specs, havn't even logged into my phone yet...

If you do have problems with the box you can always give us a call (800.633.3600 opt. 1-4-3). Thats the NetServer support team, and trust me we actually know what we are doing for the most part. I don't recall Linux being supported on the older systems but that doesn't mean that we won't try to help you out.

I'm a BSD junkie myself but we do have a Linux team here that at least knows the hardware. I wouldn't ask them any in depth questions about the kernel or the OS itself but they can probably help you figure out which driver you need to compile to get the AIC chipset working.

Regards
