Just a question about the ads... by hitomi2002-06-10 04:39:58
answer and further question by ajmas 2002-06-10 04:48:20
They only get money if people click through. Its n cents per click - at least thats how it operates on other sites. BTW while an autoclicker is a nice idea it will probably just back fire as the advertiser may not trust the clicks coming via UF if the discover that is the source of the activity. If the can't trust the clicks then they won't advertise.

While I mention this I have a question: why should web sites only make money if people click through? After all magazines, radio and TV ads don't pay the publisher/network if people phone them up. They get paied up front and it is a risk as to whether people act on the advert or not. The internet advertisers seems to require direct attention.
