At first glance, I thought it was simply a Seinfeld-esque reference. That is, that it was a strip about 'nothing'. However, upon reconsideration I would propose that the strip is meant to symbolize the complete lack of concern that Pitr has for the consequences of his actions. By allowing his dreams of evil dominion to poison his essentially pure, albeit hidden, heart, he runs the risk of the destruction of his soul and the eternal void beckons.
