Of course the superhero has the innate skills to make one hirself, because all superheros have superb design skills. As to the web-shooters it was the director's decision to make them organic rather than constructed, and this was one issue that many people had issues with. IIRC there is an entire website devoted to arguing it at www.noorganicwebshooters.com or something like that. However when asked about it Stan Lee (Marvel supreme ruler - Excelsior!) said that he didn't mind the change and he actually thought it was a good idea. It makes more logical sense (if you ignore the fact that it should come out his posterior), because then he would naturally have more control over them. Of course then you lose the drama when he runs out of fluid at a critical moment, but ol' Petey has enough to worry about. On a related note, now many people found it hilarious when he tried to make the web come by saying "Shazam!"? \|·Þ
