lots of coax, an antenna's, oh my... "zap" boom ~flash~ <shake> /me also had our phone go dead during a call after a strike... There is a 80M diapole on my roof, linked to a tree then a counter weight. Then the other end of it goes into the back yard to the fence and another counter weight. There are two towers raised both 48ft delphi's towers (I think... well at least one is a delphi and we have a disassembled delphi by our shed and a spare yagi on it's roof in peices). One VHF antenna in one tower and out of the other tower is a yagi HF.(hmm we also have an old radio station satellite dish disassembled by the side of our house). Anyways it makes for a light show... particularly the one night my roommate didn't have things properly grounded<sizzle> or was it he just plugged the coax in wrong? hmmm... anyways more than once we've had intresting light and sound shows complete with the house rumbling and electrical things going wacky.
