It surely indicates mental activity, but insane people have that in megawatts. It says nothing of sanity or being mentally organized.
Note that I was not disputing his assertion, but merely its scope.
To a point, a more stable, organized mind will have a finer appreciation of humor. And then, as that mind becomes more logical and less dependent on/restricted by emotional or other illogical mental programming, that appreciation dissipates. Eventually, one would be thoroughly without a sense of humor.
This is nothing to worry about, as humans basically live mostly to the left of the curve. We'll be a long time trying to crest it, and despite the steepness of the decline on the other side, it will still be an uphill battle. |
