I am prone to little "cerebral clutch-pops" that make me say really bizarre things...almost like Tourette's Lite. Mrs Gila has been keeping a list of some of the things I say, most of which don't even make sense in context. Here's a sampling:
Two Mormon missionaries were in our neighborhood. Suddenly, I hear my mouth saying, "Look! Dilbert's selling door-to-door Jesus on a stick!"
I was packing to move to a new office/cubicle for the fourth time in 13 months. Mrs Gila asked how it was going. My response: "I farted in a box so when I unpack my office will smell like my butt." (Yes, these things are often gross.)
Mrs Gila was (I don't remember the exact situation) telling me how effective something was at doing something. My reply: "Yes, but I find them not as efficaceous as L Ron Hubbard's fingernail parings!"
There are a lot of others, but some are quite rude and will not stand against the 14-year-old sister test.
