Estimate of value of first Star Trek book by mikosullivan2006-11-19 12:55:59
well - IANAE but... by nimdokk 2002-06-07 19:57:11
I'm sort of assuming that the picture on that page is *not* your copy - its a bit worn on the spine and the pages will probably have some wear on them as well. I'd ball-park a figure of 15-20 dollars - depending on the audience and also on which imprint the book is (just because its a first edition doesn't mean its from the very first run of books) if it's from the first imprint, it will probably be worth more (likely enough to compensate for any damage). To a true die-hard fan it might bring in more money than it would to a regular bibliophile. Of course an expert appraiser would be able to tell better what the true worth of the book is. You might take it to a reputable used/collectible bookdealer in your area to get an estimate.
