No refugee me. by Capt. X 2002-06-07 19:51:14
I'm not trying to immigrate -- I just want to try pulling a little temp work. I'm interested in seeing how the better half of the North American continent lives, and you always get a better impression of people by working alongside them. Vacations don't tell you much about a culture, other than whether or not they object to having their hotel towels stolen.

(Important travel tip: If you pose as "Room Service" and swipe the towels from other people's rooms, you stand a better chance of not having the cost of your illictly acquired linen added to your final bill. And if you try this stunt at a hotel you're not actually staying at, your chances get even better... to wind up spending the night in the local lockup, that is.)
