| It's a different kind of doughnut - most are cake-like, and a properly baked Krispy Kreme doughnut will melt in your mouth. The glaze, bless 'em, covers the entire thing, instead of just being drizzled sparingly on top. And they're oh-so-creamy and chewy. This is if you're not very adventurous and only get the plain kind. I seldom do, because I like to live dangerously. Their chocolate-covered custard-filled doughnuts are hard to beat, but their powdered blueberry-filled ones run a close second. And sometimes, they'll get adventurous and try something nutty - not two months ago, I was treated to a New York Cheesecake doughnut. I almost kissed the person at the register, but I had doughnut in my mouth, and he smelled kinda funny anyway. :D |
