arriving from out southern border. If I'm not misaken, the waiting list is over a decade long for unskilled labor from Mexico. If they're desperate, they can't afford to wait that long, so they come illegally. If they're all suddenly allowed in, then there will be a huge influx of immigrants. I don't think we could absorb that many, even if they were all willing to work at terrible jobs.
