Yes, it should get moderated for language.
But he was not "idiotic" for posting it - just incensed at something he thought was unacceptable.
Especially, he does NOT deserve to be disabled! This should be a LAST resort, not something we cry wolf over every time somebody breaks a rule.
If you felt he was making vicious personal attacks on someone, you would be justified in asking for that sort of punishment. As it is, he simply broke the language rule - and that is something the moderators should judge.
Notice that I have neither supported nor opposed the content of his post - yet. Because I am speaking to the actual offense and your reaction to it. But I'll get him next. ;-) |
