I may show a 40-year-old Ethiopian gentleman I work with that post. Since he came here when he was 30, he has mastered English to the point that about 1/2 of the US speaks it worse than he does! I am sure he would have some pungent observations on the kind of (hopefully unconscious) racism that sentence implies. |
