Social:
The children could learn about their new culture in the home aswell as in the schools
There would be less tumult within the families as the different worlds were not as different and difficult to merge
The adults would blend in better into society and become more part of the everyday events
There would be less enmity because a common language makes understanding and learning about other people a lot easier

Economic:
Adults who are trained in certain proffessions within economics, medicine etc would be able to practice that proffession in their new country, thereby contributing to the tax income
