If you look on the map to find out were Pecos actually is, you will have a pretty good idea of why I agree.
Deportation of illegals is probably a good first step. I however would show leaniancy for the ones that actually have tackled a job and are supporting themselves. I would not see English classes as optional, they should be a requirment for continued occupancy.
As for ANY legal person on welfare, birth control injections and eaither English classes or an English proficiency test should be requirements as well.
Work for the welfare is definately a good idea. City and state projects would go a lot faster this way. Highway construction and anything tax supported would be the first targets.
As for the birth control, maybe we should add parolees or anyone defined by the courts as high risk for returning to jail should be added to that list. |
