well i need to keep them portable by ma petite2002-06-07 06:44:17
How do you join UF without an internet connection? by scissors 2002-06-07 07:03:14
No matter what size, you can always transfer "files that need to be portable" through the internet, can you?
Or doesn't your boss give you a connection? (I know you 'll need one @home too, but that's the easy one)

I don't usually use floppies any more
(advantages : sensitive data ... cannot be left on a bus-tram-metro-train,
really sensitive stuff can be encrypted in mail also,
i cannot forget the floppy (CD) when leaving in a hurry ...

And besides: your docs have grown too large for one flop, so now you 're doubling the risk of loosing "something".

You 'll find a way for the future.
Extra bonus for the e-mail transfer method: "automated backup": yesterday's version will be in the "sent items" folder, so if you mess up today's version, you only use one day's editing. And if (at the w*-side) there is a daily backup, it will be in the mail-backup too (redundant backups)
