It has come to my attention that certain staff members have engaged in activities that are not in accord with our corporate vision or mission statement. Those responsible, and those in their immediate social sphere may have considered those activities to be amusing, but let me point out that they acted without proper authority (as detailed in corporate policies AC214 and MG117), rendering this type of conduct as a blatant
disregard for the existing management structure. The purpose of these policies and of management oversight, as detailed in the Employee Handbook, is to ensure proper oversight of our assets and capital.

We siezed a limited-time opportunity to increase sales to one of our major accounts by 25 percent. What's wrong with that? I'm sure the Board of Directors would approve.
