but i don't think it would have helped me in this instance anyway... what had happened:

i had five word documents on a floppy disk (needed to remain portable)... the documents became too large to keep on one disk so i needed to split them up... so i cut & paste all five to my hard drive then moved three of them to one disk and (or so i thought) the other two to another floppy disk... then i deleted all five of them from my hard drive... well the last two hadn't been moved to floppy like i thought... this is what i get for trying to do all this at 7 am before i go to work and before i'm fully awake *shrug*
