Comment Board Trivia by Nea2002-06-07 00:19:00
  glad I waited by nawft 2002-06-07 00:25:56
I was wondering where the usual posters of this were.
I was panicked that the board was about to end and was even thinking of a question to replace the old timed out one with.

Glad I waited, now the TLP of this thread shall not be sullied by my handle.

oh yeah, the answer is:
(based on what dictionary.com says)
Latin trivia, neuter pl. of trivium, crossroads, gutter (influenced by trivial). See trivium.
I have to say I don't really understand why the word meaning crossroads came to mean "Insignificant or inessential matters; trifles" as it now seems to (again based on dictionary.com)

My new question is:
What is the atomic weight of Californium?
