I tried that a few times, in case it wasn't blank enough. ;) I like RAID 5 aplenty when a hard drive goes kaput. Why, in a hot-swap scenario, it's perfect. Trouble is, I haven't run across a dead hard drive in a drive array in...four? five? years, so it's not been terribly useful.
