I could do a server side solution. In fact I have done something similar in the past. Since that part of the page is included in another file I wondered if I could have a server included file include another server file.
I'd also really rather have a more elegant solution than that if I can.
I did not know that about comments in XHTML (which is the goodness I saught) I wonder what they recommend instead. Time to whip out the XHTML in 24 hours book I guess.

looking at the NS4 source it does not show the javascript, and it does show a link tag. The problem is it shows the style.css tag. I copied the Javascript code right out of the html file. I can see no way for it to have done that. It is a puzzler
