Back to UserFriendly Strip Comments Index

style sheet/stupid NS4 question by nawft2002-06-05 18:14:30

You can't use a server-side solution?

I notice you have the closing / in your link elements. If this means you are aiming for xhtml goodness, then remember that <-- and // --> script hiding is a no no with xhtml. Comment nodes can be removed from xml without warning, so you could (theoretically) lose your script.

One useful feature of NS (just about the only one, from a programmer's point of view) is that the view source feature can show the parsed source, after the javascript has run (or not). Does that give any indications of problems (ie the script and noscript elements being stripped)?
