(Yeah right, who am I kidding?) ...but the discs inside but hard and floppy disks are in fact round, of course. But actually, I always use the term 'floppy (disk)' for 5.25" disks and the term 'diskette' for 3.5" disks. They aren't floppy, now are they? Note the completely inconsistent use of the words disk and disc in the above...
