You have a 4 cylinder transverse engine. That means the spark plugs go in from the top. On my car (1990 Olds 3.1 six) I have to unbolt two dogbone mounts and rotate the engine forward to get at the back plugs.

You could do this yourself in a half hour. I would recommend that you buy a consumer repair manual(I prefer Haynes over Chilton, they are better written). They are only $10-$15 at most auto stores. Even if you don't do the work yourself, a manual will help you to see what's going on. That way you can be sure that you never pay for a "blinker fluid change". The manual usually pays for itself the first time you don't get screwed over.

I am not sure if you have a cover over the top of your engine, but I can check the details when I get home today, I have a manual that includes your car.

Would you happen to know the engine size?

I'll keep the rest of my answers to the diary, so you can find them later.
