It as question of a woman's right to decide if she is really ready to assume the tremendous responsability of bringing a life into the world.
Also, just because it turned out fine for you eventually, doesn't mean that it does for every one.
I don't advocate doing it lightly, but I do applaud the fact that the possibility exists without turning the woman into a legal criminal.
