Acutally, the fact that McDonalds has publically stated that this was their own fault in and of itself should restore any karmic imbalance. But that's just my view on that philosophy.
Is it a sin for a person to sleep with another person, if said person doesn't say they are married? Isn't adultery a sin?
But, if you are misled to believing something else, and then that person admits that the sin is their fault, are they not taking the burden of that sin upon themselves?
And since we all know that McDonalds is having its own wing built in H377, what's one more transgression against divinity?
