One thing I've always liked about Scooby: it's one of the few pieces of entertainment for kids that espouses skepticism. There are no ghosts, it's always just Old Man Miller in a sheet trying to scare his neighbor into selling the farm. Yes, the series did imply that there were ghosts out there somewhere, but whenever they'd investigate enough it was always the guy in the sheet again. -Miko
