Thanks all for the hugs and stories. I dropped by the shop and picked up my board (It still had a perfectly good 256 Meg PC2100 memory chip in it. They hadn't gotten around to doing anything yet nor will I let them have it any longer. I don't even trust them far enough to let them test it with my perfectly good memory in it. I'll be buying my boards elsewhere and I'll eat the loss on this board. I don't know if this company is affiliated with the larger franchise nor do I know if this is a reflection of the company in general, but it is named ComputerMax and the store I won't be buying from is in Sierra Vista Arizona. I can get it cheaper on the net even after shipping and I don't have to endure insulting attitudes.
