So what's the best Jinglish you've come across? by Dok2002-06-03 01:55:20

I once got a solar powered bike spedometer which had started life in Japan. The section on the power source was entitled "Using the Solar System" (to which I cried out in frustration, "I want the Reference Manual, dammit!")

I also used to receive Teletypes (on a real ASR-33) from a Japanese customer when I worked at Lisp Machine, Inc. Some of the things were barely distinguishable from random monkey typing.

Hmmm, maybe 1,000,000 Japanese engineers could eventually produce the works of Shakespeare.
