Sitting by the patio windows, there was a blinding flash then, less than 1/10sec later, the most almighty clap of thunder. Frightened the life out of us. Then... nothing. Not a whimper. Nor a spot of rain. It's drizzled a bit this afternoon, but we've not had the thunder storm we desperately need to clear the air. Of course, since I'm going out this evening, I'm sure the heavens will open. :)
