John Phillip Sousa My question: How many "publicly" known types of string theory exist? Don't count M-Theory, 'cuz it unifies all string theories and eleven dimensional supergravitation (and many other things). One type has 2 subtypes, A and B, they both count as two seperate theories. Be aware that this question differs from the one Llyr asked yesterday (I forgot to look in the comment board, if I had, i would've answered it :) )
