Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:23:33
  Most annoying ... by bugarup2002-06-02 12:20:43
I guess thats like by Arienadean 2002-06-02 12:46:21
some of the accents in diffrent parts of england... I hear the geordie accent can be hard to get. I found my grandpa easy to understand(Bristol), and my grandmothers(one was from sunderland but her family originally hailed from Scottland and the other was from Stratford upon Avon)... my dad apprently had the geordie accent as a boy but it went away and he spoke with a BC/Western Canadian accent by the time he was a preteen.(though he tried to speak geordish to me once or twice and hmm he described it as english varient of pig latin<shrug>)

I don't think though overall it's so much the accents (even though some are quite heavy) as the manner in which they talk(slang, pronouncation, etc) that get irritating.(or frustrating if your trying to understand them)
