Why is there mRNA? by really-joel 2002-06-02 10:33:26
I have a paper about genetics due tomorrow, and one of the questions is as follows:

"Try to give an explaination as to why mRNA exists at all as a carrier in the flow of information from DNA to protein."

I've translated it from swedish, but it sounds as strange in its original form. I don't have the slightest clue as to what to answer. Can anyone help me?
