  what I see by nawft 2002-06-02 10:14:21
is that you declare your two variables as int variables.
Javascript does not support ints. All variables are declared as var, and in fact you don't really need to declare them as var either (but you should anyways so you don't have to recall the one case where variables must be declared var.
anyway.. change
"int currentPicture=0;
int goToPic=0;"
to
"var currentPicture=0;
var goToPic=0;"

also Javascript supports the ++ and -- operators.
"goToPic = goToPic+1" could be "goToPic++;"
and
goToPic = goToPic-1 could be "goToPic--;"
and one should put semicolons ";" at the end of every statement.
