and we wouldn't get involved. why? well, besides not having enough troops to fight in a full scale ground war, the thought of having all the nuclear subs have to fire their missles (each missle contains more power than all the munitions fired in world war two. there are 18 trident subs, 24 missiles per sub, 8 warheads per missile. total warheads: 3,456 one war head is 100 kilotons [20,000,000 pounds of trinitrotoulene high explosive], hiroshima was 14 kilotons.) we know what these weapons do and what will happen if -we- fire them. we do not want to get involved, too costly.
