Oh how I hate it when some id10t goes and messes with settings without knowing what they do! My mom's computer was showing signs of video corruption when it was all because the programs were using more than 256 colours -- so had to switch the 256 colours to 16-bit colour and the problem went away. Now to find the idiot that did this and LART them.
