I had just moved to NC. Worked for a terrible company... of course, I only found out AFTER I started that it was a bad place.
Was in a pretty bad relationship for numerous reasons. In general, wasn't very happy.
1 year ago, I had a pretty good job. Didn't like ALL the people I worked with, but when does that ever happen? I was taking flight lessons, and had soloed a few times. I was single, but happy. Life was good.
Last week...
Had lost the job (lay offs), went back to school, was trying to find some seg faults in my hash tables and linked lists. I have NO income source at the moment (not counting student loans) and I haven't flown since October.
No better, no worse from a year ago, MUCH MUCH better than 5 years ago. |
