yep its about time you should be thinking like that. Now start reading some astrophysics. If you've not read 'A brief history of Time' I suggest you do. Check out current 'brane theories vs the old order of 'superstrings'. And then see how that fits in with your proposed model.
After all is this not the same as proposed:
"Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em,

Which is an 18th century mathematical rehash (Augustus De Morgan) of an earlier 18th century poem (Jonathan Swift, author of Gullivers Travels) :)
