that luckily was able to quit cold turkey no problem. I also am allergic to smoke/tabbaco. Oddly my mom is as well however it made her more addicted to cigarettes. I think sometimes the body might become hypersensitive. I'm not sure. However I can tell you from personal experience allergies can suddenly appear at any time in life. I suddenly a few years back developed an allergy to almonds. Which *$#@! because I quite like almond flavoured things. But now anything flavoured with it can give me hives, etc. Similarly I think levels of allergic reactions can wax and wein<sp> even with allergy shots. I've had the shots and somethings don't bother me anymore and somethings do(but it varies on how bad ... some days I don't react too bad to somethings other days its ick)
