Night and Fog is a famous documentary about the Holocaust. This short 1955 documentary is often credited with forcing the world to realize the horror of the concentration camps. If you use "night" and "fog" together a lot of people are going to be distracted by the association, and are probably going to wonder what the connection to the Holocaust is supposed to be.
