Coupla reasons: This thing happens all the time. Its a point of honor (or reverse point, can ya see what Im trying to say?) And if you will notice, he is on the last rank away from the queen. For her to check on him would cause a great disruption. Prolly not something she nor he wants. Also the guy on the horse is checking him out, discreetly. Trust me on this one. That guy wishes no one notices that. :) Sieldan, Former US Marine, who has never fallen out. ;)
