so I'll borrow someone else's words. (don't worry, there are some of mine at the end too)
When the day is long and the night
The night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life
Well hang on
Don't let yourself go
Cause everybody cries
Everybody hurts sometimes
Sometimes everything is wrong
(Now it's time to sing along)
When your day is night alone
Hold on, hold on
If you feel like letting go
When you think you've had too much
Of this life
Well hang on
Cause everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts
Don't throw your hand
Oh no
Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone
No, you are not alone
If you're on your own in this life
The days and nights are long
When you think you've had too much
Of this life to hang on
Well, everybody hurts sometimes
Everybody cries
And everybody hurts sometimes
So hold on, hold on
Hold on
--REM, 'Everybody Hurts'
I'm kinda new here, but I get the impression I'd get on well with a lot of the UFies if I met them in real life. You're among them.
Do read the posts people have made - I agree completely with what nin_man and Hitomi said yesterday.
What makes life enjoyable depends on who you are. I don't know you, but: Listen to music, if you like music? Talk to people? Watch sunsets and/or sunrises if you like that sort of thing? Relax in the sunshine (local weather permitting)? Read? If you enjoy being a geek, there are a lot of very active open-source projects out there - maybe get involved? Whatever, really. To quote another song I like, "Life is for living."
