I'm going to start a Star Trek Captain Comparison thread. I only ask two rules: (1)You must support your opinion, if you think Kirk is best, explain why. ("because" does not count) (2) please be respectful of other people's opinions. Okay to start here's my pick: Katheryn Janeway. For me it was a close call between Janeway and Archer. What finally tipped the scales for me was Janeway's wit. Right from the beginning ("At ease ensign before you strain something."), she approaches situations with just a little bit of dry wit and sarcasm. She still takes her job very seriously, but she has fun while doing it. "We're Starfleet Officers, weird is part of the job." -Gary 7 ('Intergalactic Man of Mystery')
