This punch line actually has a wonderful story with it. My Information Processing class was 12 people and 12 computers crammed into a really tiny room (thank goodness Mac Classics take up no space!). Much of this class consisted of playing Tetris tournaments, learning Inuit sign language, and discussing Beavis and Butthead.
There was a guy named Clifford in this class. He kept trying to tell a joke but all he could remember was that it had something to do with university and the punchline is "It was a goat."
One day, Clifford suddenly started typing furiously - he had remembered the joke! After typing the joke up, he asked the teacher if he could read it to the class. The teacher read the joke, laughed for about 5 minutes and said no, it was inappropriate to tell in class . . . but if everyone happened to congregate around this computer and read the joke, who is he to stop them? ;)
The joke was really, really funny. And all I can remember is the damned punch line!
If ANYONE knows the joke I'm talking about, please, PLEASE, for my sanity TELL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
