Ok, I just got home in the UK (yes it is 22:30 over here) and you lot are on this thread! No fair picking on tech-support!

Here is today's rant on the subject.

That happened over 5 years ago + it STILL bugs me.

Right up there as well is the guy who hard-rebooted his (SCO) unix box 5 times "because it doesn't display anything" before realising that his monitor was turned off...

Little known fact:

Tech Support LIKE the difficult developer-type calls. They give us intellectual satisfaction when we fix them + make a nice break from the rest of the idiots.
