The "auto-tips" of MS own assistant were so annoying that i turned them off. (most of them either not-to-the-point or already-known-and-using-that) This one though looks familiar, but isn't. In Word "3" (for mac system 6 that was) there was something like that, using a split-window, not with TOC but with "document overview" in the bottom part. Didn't work well in Wd6-for-win though, so i forgot about it.
