Question of the Day! by kickstart2002-03-28 00:00:07
  I hate themes...themes are evil.... by Halcyon 2002-03-28 08:40:23
You know how when your in Gnome or Kde and your cursor keeps moving over the control panel. At first you resist but finally you can't take it anymore. So you click the control panel, and then you see it. The evil "desktop theme selector". You figure 'hey this could be fun my current theme sucks the "big wet stinky".

Now at first it like 'wow look at the million's of pretty colours'. Then three hours latter you finnally preview all the themes and you figure that theme at the beggining was really cool but you don't remember exactly where it was so you hafta go throught every theme again trying to find it. Then you still can't find it so you start going through the themes again.

And then all of a sudden the preview stops working so now you haff'ta "apply" all of the themes on at a time just thy to find something, anything that would suffice. But none of them are good enough, you can't stand themes any more you hate all of them.

But you can't quit. No matter how difficult you must find a theme. So you get even more frustrated. Hell if I can't find a cool theme for KDE...hell I'll use Gnome. And then the horible process starts all over again. Several hours latter you are still trying to find a theme.

Finally you get so irrate you hit the power button. And then in a effort to save you pc from being tossed out a 112th floor balcony. You pop in a windows cd install windows (hey windows only comes with a coupla different themes) ...and then live happilly ever after knowing MS will never bother wasting their valuable time making themes to ship with windows. :)~
