After two years of saying "I'm going to rebuild that old pentium into a firewall/server" I finally got it up and running last night. And it is a beauteous thing to behold, people will come from miles around to see the server I built :-) OK a slight exaggeration, but you can't beat the "I built it myself" feeling. I spent this evening running Cat-5 around the house so that my housemates get the benefit of cable access as well. I've been hogging it for a couple of weeks now so it's only fair... Next job: Sort out routing so that I can send and receive email again.
