There are some odd things about the internet. There is an inherent license that people who view may save, print, use, etc. in agreement with fair use.

The Copyright Act of 1976 (mended in 1992) gives a person the ability to do lots of things so long as they are "fair use" in these contexts:

-connection with criticism or comments
-news reporting
-teaching
-researh / scholarship

Now with the internet license involved (as said before, because it's on the internet it has an inherent license) you get some other benifits so long as you still keep in mind the 4 points used to determine if it's fair use or not:

-purpose and character of use
-nature of the copyrighted work
-amount used
-effect of the use upon the potential market / value of the copyrighted work

Since you are using the whole picture, as is, you can print it and hang it on your wall etc. Hanging it in a more public setting is an iffy thing. Without modification I would say that you wouldn't be in the wrong even if it was a T shirt, so long as you kept all the copyright markings and gave proper credit. With modification, I'm not sure how it would go with the public nature of display.

Either way it's best to ask the copyright owner before you do things which may represent his work in a different light than originally intended, as if it goes against his feelings he has grounds for an infringement action, and could get you for damages, etc... (it gets messy)

So that's my thoughts on it.
